Employee Wellness Programme

The primary goal of the access onsite™ Employee Wellness Programme is to prevent unwellness, strengthen wellness and to actively manage the wellness risk in the individual employee as well as in the employee population group as a whole. We do this by assessing risk towards unwellness by continuously applying the industry leading and in-house developed WARS IndexTM. We integrate our employee wellness services into client programmes and other employee / medical scheme benefits and company policies & procedures in a collaborative manner.

We also combine our employee wellness initiatives with our state-of-the-art chronic disease management programmes (including HIV / AIDS). Access Health (SA) has a novel approach in the industry with reference to HIV / AIDS, chronic disease and lifestyle related disease management. We can strategically and operationally embed HIV services within the Employee Wellness Programme on a seamless and effortless approach, monitor compliance of employees to medical scheme programmes and offer integrated reporting to our clients.

Resulting from our emphasis on integration and compliance, we ensure that no duplication of wellness services occur with employees who are medical scheme members. We will integrate the data outputs of these to ensure a streamlined Employee Wellness Programme and we embed the intervention strategies within the identified risks per site.

 

Programme Philosopy

The “one-umbrella” or flexible “plug-and-play” range of services included in the offering ensures that the people requirements are aligned with business requirements in the organisation. We can therefore offer the total comprehensive and integrated service to an employee base or we could render specific components complimentary to structures already in place, e.g. benefits of employees who are members of medical schemes and also should there be well established occupational health services in the company.
