The primary goal of our access red ribbon™ HIV / AIDS Management Programme is to render a cost effective management programme for employees or members who have been identified as HIV positive in order to ensure optimal productivity and collateral to medical scheme benefits. We educate and support HIV positive patients to seek early, preventative care in order to prevent HIV transmission and stay compliant to treatment.
Our call centre’s multi-lingual professional staff will assist callers in providing proactive ways to improve and maintain physical, emotional and psychological wellbeing despite the diagnosis of HIV and support the member to take ownership of their health. They will also provide wellness, lifestyle and medication management information to the patient to ensure compliance and thereby curbing unnecessary costs.
The access red ribbon™ programme consists of four major focus areas:
- Patient case management with monitoring and education.
- Patient medication compliance monitoring.
- Delivery of ARV medication (Pre-HAART and HAART medication) at the address of choice of the patient.
- Clinical management and support to General Practitioners.
