Lifestyle & Compliance Management
Our Lifestyle & Compliance Management Programmes serve as excellent member or patient support programmes. Adapted to cater for specific client needs, these programmes are ideal to decrease medical scheme risk and costs for high risk individuals by assisting individuals in behaviour change. Our multi-disciplinary team of experts developed dietary and exercise guidelines, which are adapted to the specific needs of the individual.
Access to support is available through our call centre which focuses on outbound calls and therefore pro-actively interacts with individuals registered on the programme. Through our “Ask the Expert” service, members can send questions through to specific members of our multi-disciplinary team, whether it is meant for the doctor, dietician, biokineticist, psychologist or nurse. This one-on-one forum is confidential and provides online support for members.
The MAD Tool™ provides a general risk assessment as baseline while the WARS IndexTM forms the backbone of the outcomes of the lifestyle and compliance management programmes and is totally risk oriented. Reporting and outcomes measurement would then also focus on change in risk behaviour, thereby reducing risk categories. Our programmes ultimately integrate a medical model approach (essential for the clinical management aspects) as well as a psycho-social and behavioural model.
Compliance is measured through combining self-reported as well as clinical variables. The Compliance Index and Level of Readiness used are essential in the case management of individuals, ensuring optimum intervention takes place.
